After years of planning New Years Eve weddings, we have come up with our fair share of ideas for keeping guests entertained. Naturally, when ABC 7 asked about unique ways to elevate a New Years Eve party, we were delighted to share.
Last-minute party planners, take note! These 3 tips are fast and easy.
Tip 1: Get creative with your decor by sourcing stylish balloons from a local vendor like Paris 312. No excuses: they take last-minute orders!
Tip 2: Create a resolution board with your guests. It's a great conversation starter and is a fun memento for you to keep.
Tip 3: Put together an interactive cocktail station for your guests. Here we featured two options from our friends at FIG Drinks! First, display a unique assortment of bitters, garnishes and mixers to pair with champagne. For some added flair, serve in vintage crystal coupe glasses like the ones in our vintage rental collection. Second, offer a unique, wintery cocktail like this one featuring Apologue persimmon liqueur. Use cute paper straws for that finishing touch.
Whether or not you're planning a New Years Eve party, viewing the segment is a great way to get a sense of the energy, organization and style Kate brings to planning every event. From a general NYE concept, we took our ideas and ran with them to pull together tips, vendors and materials on a tight timeline. It was tons of fun to get up early and feel the excitement of connecting with an audience of people who share the same passion as we do. The thrill of being on TV is similar to the rush of pulling off an amazing wedding day, and no matter what we do, we always do it right!
Many, many thanks to ABC 7 Chicago, interviewer Mark Rivera, our friend Ximena of C1 Revolution, FIG Drinks and Paris 312. Collaborating with talented professionals like them is what makes it all click!
